Established over thirty years ago, we are a group of volunteer parents who care about the education of our children from kindergarten to twelfth grade and entering into college. We work together in conjunction with the Board of Education, the principals of all the schools, the PTO's and the parents to heighten awareness of important topics in today's changing times. We have brought authors, lecturers, educators, filmmakers to speak or showcase their efforts to help bring awareness on many topics including but not limited to bullying, social media, curriculum, and peer pressure. In addition, we work at bridging the gap between parents and the Board of Education. |
We welcome ideas and input from all parents, even those not a member of WSPC. Our meetings our open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. Please view our site and learn more about us and if you see a vacancy in any of the seven schools in our district and know someone interested in becoming a member of WSPC, please let them know. We always welcome new members. |
